If you are a domestic worker, a nanny, cleaner, gardener, or helper, AskMandla helps make sure you are paid fairly, treated legally, and protected under South African labour law.

We work with your employer to make sure everything is done right , and we send it all to you on WhatsApp.

We make sure you have a formal, legal contract with your employer that includes:

  • Your working hours and days

  • Your salary (monthly, weekly, or daily)

💰 2. A monthly payslip

Every month, you’ll receive a payslip on WhatsApp that shows:

  • How much you earned

  • Any days you took off

  • Any UIF deductions (for maternity or unemployment)

  • Any overtime, bonuses, or allowances

🧾 You can use this payslip to apply for credit, housing, or even a visa.

🏦 3. Your salary paid into your bank account

Your employer sends us your salary, and we make sure you get paid on time.

🛡️ 4. UIF Registration

If your employer agrees, we help them register you for UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund), which means:

🛑 We’ll also tell you if you’re not yet registered, and help you talk to your employer.

If you resign, you will NOT be able to claim UIF.
