How billing works: salary + subscription + fees

💳 What does the employer pay?

Each month, AskMandla sends you a single invoice that includes:

1. Your employee’s full salary (as agreed in the contract)

2. UIF and other deductions (if applicable)

3. AskMandla’s monthly subscription fee

📅 When do I pay?

You’ll receive your monthly invoice near the start of the month, before payday.

You’ll then make one easy payment:

• By EFT (no extra fees)

We’ll confirm once payment is received.

🏦 What does AskMandla do with the payment?

We take care of everything for you:

1. We pay your employee on your behalf via EFT

2. We send them their payslip on WhatsApp

3. We handle all leave, attendance, and deduction tracking

4. We file UIF (if you’ve asked us to do so)

5. We store all your records for easy access

💡 What’s included in the subscription fee?

Askmandla charges a once-off onboarding fee of R450 and then follows a monthly subscription model of R49 per month.

Our monthly service fee covers:

• Generating and storing your employment contract

• Tracking leave, sick days, and overtime

• Creating payslips and recording payments

• Sending notifications and reminders via WhatsApp

• Providing labour law compliance support

• Helping with UIF registration and monthly submissions

Let’s say your domestic worker earns R3,500/month.

🚫 What happens if I don’t pay?

If payment isn’t received:

• Your employee won’t receive their salary

• Their payslip and UIF will not be processed

• Your AskMandla subscription may be paused

We’ll always send reminders but your payment must reflect per the due date of the invoice.

We send it to you via WhatsApp and Email. You can also request a copy at any time.
