Earned Wage Access Terms and Conditions

Earned Wage Access allows eligible employees to access a portion of their earned salary before the normal payday.

1. Overview

Earned Wage Access allows eligible employees to access a portion of their earned salary before the normal payday.

This is not a loan.
No interest is charged.
No credit checks are performed.

It is early advances on wages already earned.


2. Eligibility

To qualify:

• You must be an active employee
• Your employer must be subscribed to AskMandla
• Your monthly salary must have been prepaid by your employer
• You must agree to these Terms

AskMandla may decline requests if eligibility requirements are not met.


3. Access Limits

• You may access up to 25% of your net monthly salary in total per month
• Maximum 2 requests per month
• The total accessed may not exceed 25% of your net monthly salary
• No unused balance carries forward

Example:
If your net salary is R3,000, the maximum available for the month is R750 in total.


4. Fees

Each withdrawal includes:

• A 2% service fee
PLUS
• A transaction fee depending on payment speed

24-Hour Payment

• R6 transaction fee for withdrawals of R200 or less
• R10 transaction fee for withdrawals above R200

Immediate Payment

• R15 transaction fee for withdrawals of R200 or less
• R25 transaction fee for withdrawals above R200

All fees will be confirmed before payment is processed.

Example (R750 – 24-hour payment):

2% service fee = R15
Transaction fee = R10
Total fee = R25
Total deduction on payday = R775

Example (R750 – Immediate payment):

2% service fee = R15
Transaction fee = R25
Total fee = R40
Total deduction on payday = R790


5. Salary Deduction

The total amount accessed plus all applicable fees will be deducted from your salary in the same payroll month.

No amounts will roll into the next month.

If employment ends before payday, the accessed amount and fees will be deducted from your final salary.


6. Not Credit

Early Wage Access is not a loan and does not constitute credit under the National Credit Act.

It is access to wages already earned.


7. Changes

AskMandla may update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on the Knowledge Base.

Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
