Yes, but here's why our contracts are better for everyone.

AskMandla allows you to upload and use your own employment contract if you already have one in place with your domestic worker.
You’ll be able to:

But, before you do, read on to understand why it might not be the best option.
🛑 Why we don’t recommend using your own contract
Custom or downloaded templates often:

Miss key legal requirements (e.g. sick leave rules, notice periods)

Lack UIF clauses and compliance language

Don’t track leave or working hours properly

Are not digitally signed or stored safely
These gaps can lead to legal disputes, non-compliance, or difficulty with UIF claims.

If you want to make major changes, our team can help you add a custom clause to the generated contract.

If you're set on using your own document:

Let AskMandla know during onboarding

We'll prompt you to upload the signed PDF

We'll store it in the employee’s profile

You’ll still be able to use the rest of the platform (payslips, leave tracking, etc.)
🗂️ Just note that we cannot guarantee legal compliance if the document was not generated through our system.

Use the AskMandla contract; it’s legally solid, easy to update, and built for domestic workers and their employers.
But if you’ve already signed one, you’re welcome to keep using it, we’ll still help you stay compliant with everything else.

Even if you upload your own contract, both you and your employee will be asked to agree to AskMandla’s service terms via WhatsApp.
